We are open 0900 -1700 Monday to Friday.

Atlantic Equine Ltd was founded in 1989 by Tony Lindsell.

We are UK importers and distributors for a number of high quality, brand-name equine hoofcare products, namely:

  • The Victory Racing Plate Company, USA
  • Equilox International Inc., USA
  • Mondial Horseshoe Nails, Italy
  • Vallorbe, Switzerland
  • Soundhorse Technologies, USA
  • Cavallo, Canada

The Victory Racing Plate Company's brands include the EC Queens Plate, the RX plate, the Elite Competition Shoe, Hoof-Life acrylic adhesive, True-Flite pads and Hoof Shield thermoplastic pads.

Atlantic Equine assisted Victory in the research and design of the EC Queens Plate, a drop-forged aluminium racing plate that rapidly became market leader in the UK and is now sold all over the world. From Nashwan to Dylan Thomas, and from Best Mate to Kauto Star, trainers and farriers have continuously relied on the quality of the Victory product both on the Flat and over jumps.

Equilox International Inc., were the first company to market an acrylic adhesive in the equine world. Atlantic Equine launched the product in the UK and it rapidly transformed farriers' approach to hoof repair and hoof correction. Many copy-cat products have since followed, but Equilox remains pre-eminent in this field. In addition, farriers have now found that it is equally effective in glueing-on shoes without the use of nails.

Mondial Horseshoe Nails is a family-run company based in Northern Italy. Since 1923, the company has consistently delivered a high-quality product and now makes over 90 different types of horseshoe nail.

Vallorbe Swiss has for long been a manufacturer of rasps and files for the precision engineering and watchmaking industries, throughout the world, but only moved into the horse rasp market in 2007. Their first product has been extremely successful, and is proving to be considerably longer-lasting than other rasps.

Soundhorse Technologies' glue-on cuff shoeing system provides a unique alternative to nailing-on shoes. With a urethane rim pad on the hoof surface of the shoe to absorb concussion, the Soundhorse product has proven an excellent solution for problem feet over a number of years.

The Cavallo 'Simple' Hoof Boot lives up to its name. Its simple front loading / removing and tough Velcro closures, combined with its hard-wearing features have won it many admirers. Again only launched in the UK in 2007, it has taken a major share of the hoof boot market.

In addition, Atlantic Equine supplies a wide range of other well-known farriery , equine and bovine hoofcare products, tools, horse hoof supplements, natural hoofcare accessories and natural horse products. We hold large and ongoing stocks of all our lines, and aim to ship on a Next Day basis wherever possible.

As new technologies are applied in the field of equine and bovine hoofcare, new products are becoming available. We are constantly assessing these new products and add them to our range when we know that they are proven and successful.

Our customer base includes many of the major horse-racing yards in the country, farriers, professional cattle foot trimmers, vets, studs and horse-owners. We also have an extensive dealer network throughout the UK and Ireland.

Atlantic Equine Ltd is both a trade and retail member of BETA (the British Equestrian Trade Association), and we aim to maintain the highest standards of the industry.
